Hi!
I’ve participated on a new watercolour course! The last two courses were so great that I had to continue with this colourful hobby. The first theme was glass and reflections and this painting is what I came up with. I drew the outlines with a pencil and then started painting. I think it turned out pretty nice despite some problems with perspectives. :)

About Micke Nikander
Hi!
I'm a graphic designer and artist from Finland. I like creating pictures from scratch as much as documenting the wonders of the world through a lens. No, actually I like drawing more.. :)

This looks really great.. Do you know of some online courses or guides that are worth reading or watching? I’d really like to do some watercolour.
Hi! Thank you! Nice that you liked it. I haven’t come across any online courses or guides on watercolours. The best way to begin is propably putting a lot of colour on paper and see how it behaves. You can always put more paint over the previous layer or use a sponge to wash the colour away. Having good paper that endures different kinds of “experimenting” is a key thing. :)
