Domesticated

Comeback for nature themes here on my blog! You could also call this one “Forced Domestication”, if you get my point.. Anyway, it took a few dots to make this one. :)

Tools used: Pencil, marker, Micron 01 and Micron 005.

Available at Society 6.

About Micke Nikander

Hi! I'm a graphic designer and artist from Finland. I like creating pictures from scratch as much as documenting the wonders of the world through a lens. No, actually I like drawing more.. :) -Micke

  1. Stippling as a shading technique is a lost art, which is a bit sad, since when it’s well done (as it is here), it really is a great effect.

    • Hi!

Thanks for commenting.. For me stippling is still a bit new technique but nice to hear it’s working out for me. In some pictures it’s sometimes fun to mix different styles. Stippling is great for creating softness and cross-hatching is good for creating “drama”. :)

  2. Yay for dots! Those antlers are very clever :)
