About Micke Nikander
Hi!
I'm a graphic designer and artist from Finland. I like creating pictures from scratch as much as documenting the wonders of the world through a lens. No, actually I like drawing more.. :)

Man, i tell you… Drawing buildings can be a pain. Architecture can be so demanding. Much more demanding than I tought it could be. That might also be the reason why it’s so rewarding when you achieve something. Pow! Out of thin air. The grandeur. the scale of the task is often well worth it. Well at least, for me, it is.
Many windows piled up, damn that must’ve been hell!
The feathering is itense as always. And the whole deal is quite grand!
Especially loving the creeping look of the subject. A hunger for some neeeews?
Just another friendly and random observation from your friend from the deep,
Frank ” Strange Brains ” Loon
Hi again!
Nice comment, man! As you’ve seen, these houses with windows appear quite a lot in my drawings.. They are fun to draw and they create a nice, “filled up world” for my weird subjects to do their stuff in. I don’t use a ruler in drawing them – so it’s – let’s say, more like “organic” architecture than actual.
Maybe freehanding and drawing them a bit asymmetrical is a subconscious need to bring some disorder to the order of this modern, sleek, urban world we are living in.. ;)

Touché! Right and I’d would add: Right again! Always a pleasure, sir!

Same here, man. :)
